1 John
2:15-17*
15. Do not love the world
or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
16. For everything in the
world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes
and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not
from the Father but from the world.

pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives
forever.

Practical
help
You may feel that viewing
web porn is gratifying and has no long-term
consequences, but the truth is that it is a habit
which can be detrimental to you, not only in this
life, but for all eternity. You have a choice to do
the will of God, or love the things of the world.
Do you need help getting past
the worldly desire of pornography? Turn to God, and do
His will. Find someone who will hold you accountable,
such as your spouse or a close friend.
Other people have turned away
from this addiction with the help of God and others
who care for them. They are praying for you to
overcome the temptation as well.
