Many of us porn strugglers
are red-faced when caught viewing smut. Others of us
are indignant, defending porn as a right, thank you
very much.
And you? Are you ashamed or
indignant when people discover your porn
habit?
Verses 7-12 above foretell the
results of admitting versus defending folly: life on
the one hand, suffering on the other.
These verses don't try to
dissuade you from folly. They just matter-of-factly
advise you of the consequences.
Every now and then, it's good to
cease debate on our actions and just consider the
consequences. We can forget the shame or indignation
of the present and make up our minds instead based on
the inevitable results of our behavior.
So which outcome do you want,
fellow porn struggler? Life or suffering?
