Passage: Colossians 3:12-15*

12. And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

13. bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

14. And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

15. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Questions

1. Are you a compassionate person?

2. Do you put up with difficult people and are you quick to forgive those who wrong you?

3. Are you living a peaceful life?

Practical help

Isn't it a wonderful thought to know that you are not stuck with a lousy personality and lousy character traits? You can be as compassionate as Mother Teresa, because you are connected to the same source for love as she was.

Sometimes, when we are loving, others don't return the favor. That's why Paul had to put in verse 13 to truly love means we are willing to be taken advantage of in order to represent Christ to others.

And don't loose sight of the fact that the Lord has forgiven you your mess-ups. Your pornography is in your past when you confess it to God and ask for forgiveness and the strength to start over. Now God is calling you to love other hurting, entrapped people so they can discover His Salvation and forgiveness is available to them as well.
