They lose hope that they can stand strong when tempted to view smut again. If this sounds like you, consider these suggestions: 1. Change the source of your confidence. Instead of relying on your "self," depend on the "throne of grace" (a figure of speech for God himself). 2. Put your confidence into action. Go to the "throne of grace," just don't think about it. 3. Go in your "time of need." This moment may differ from person to person. Which is yours? When you activate your Web browser? When you turn on your computer? When you get up in the morning? Some or all of the above? Pick the times you're most vulnerable to Web temptation, and go then to the throne of grace. God's response? He'll give you mercy and grace to stand strong.
