Practical help
You're not alone when you face those temptations to surf to porn central. You've got a loving God, right there with you. He's not there waiting to nail you or to write down your next click in his nonvolatile "Where have you been browsing?" log. He's there waiting to hear from you.
James keeps things fairly simple in this passage -- Are you in trouble? Pray! Sounds too easy, but have you really tried it in the heat of the moment? Don't be afraid. God may answer by giving you the strength to resist or he may answer by letting you test how much you've grown. Either way he's listening. He's always listening and knowing that should give you great happiness. Now that you're happy, sing praises to his name. What a great God you have!
