James 1:13-15* 13. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 but each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Questions 1. Does God tempt you with pornography, or does He use your temptation with pornography to change you?   2. How is God "faithful" when we are tempted? What is He willing to do?   Practical help Although accepting Jesus as our Savior gives us the assurance of salvation, we are not exempt from life's problems and temptations (like Internet pornography). But 1 Corinthians 10:13 is fantastic news! This verse declares that we can have victory through Christ over any and all temptations we face, even when we feel hopelessly trapped. Our part is to pray and acknowledge to God that He has the power to give us victory over the temptation to view Internet pornography (as well as other temptations). Then we are to look for the promised "way of escape." This escape route won't end the temptation permanently. But it will help us endure it. And enduring is victory!
