Practical help
King David wrote this verse in praise after God had delivered him from his enemies. All of his trails and struggles had taught him that God was his Rock, sure and solid. God had exalted Himself over all of David’s enemies. David was changed through all the difficulties and transformed into a man capable of trusting God alone. God was exalted not only over David’s enemies, but also over the things in David’s life that otherwise kept him from knowing God’s mercy and fellowship.
In a similar way, God will not waste the struggles that you have – even the ones you have with porn. Of course His will is for you to be sexually pure, but He will work through any struggles you have to accomplish His greater purpose in your life. You too will experience Him to be trustworthy and your only sure source of strength. He’ll become your Rock, just as He was for David.
Draw near to Him today. Let Him be exalted over the enemies you face, including Web porn.
