For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Questions 1. How often has your own wisdom produced foolish results?   2. Can your own resolve and plans be depended on to beat a porn habit?   Practical help Too often it's too easy to think you've got a handle on the situation and it's all under control. You know just what to do. The plans are made. Every "gotcha" has been considered. "Bring it on!" proclaims the wise and mighty planner. Then the moment of truth comes and so does that "unplanned" stumble. And there you are — flat on your face — again. Does this describe your battle with porn? Even the great Apostle Paul had to step back every now and then to take a look at how he was approaching things. Can we do any less? We must, I reiterate, must understand that there's nothing we can do in and of ourselves that will get us past a porn habit. We need (every day) to take hold of the very basic truth of our strength — Jesus Christ gave His life to pay for our every stumble. Today, why don't you determine to know nothing except Jesus Christ and His dying for you.
