For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 3. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. 4. And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5. that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God. Is there a point at which you arrive at the pinnacle of wisdom?   Practical help Don't for a minute get the impression that the team here at eXXit has any "inside" track on exercising wisdom to steer clear of porn. We don't! Don't surf here thinking we've "grown strong" and now have some special power to ward of temptation. We haven't! What we want you to find here is that we have a common problem. Temptation tortures us like it tortures you. In moments of weakness we can all fail. We try to follow the Apostle Paul's lead as in verses 3 through 5 of today's passage. We write these studies acknowledging our own weakness and with fear and trembling. The message we hope to impart is that true help comes only from the Holy Spirit and by the power of God. We fail, but God doesn't!
