Passage: Psalm 19:7a* The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; Questions 1. How many perfect things have you experienced in your life?   2. What would you say is the condition of your soul?   Practical help "Nobody's perfect!" Have you been saying that to yourself all too often lately? Like, maybe, every time you've surfed somewhere you shouldn't have? Well, you're right. Nobody's perfect except for the triune God of the universe. Did you know that He provided a way for you and me — the perennial members of the "nobody's perfect club" — to have a perfectly restored soul? Well, He provided us His perfect law, as verse 7 says, and one of its intentions is convicting us of our willful imperfections, that is, our sin. By doing that it accomplishes in our lives what has to happen first — the realization that we've blown it. When we get to this place, we are moved to cry out "Who will restore me?" and God's son, Jesus, is there to tell us "I will!" (If you haven't experienced this gift of restoration, then click here.)
