Passage: Proverbs 13:4* The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat. Questions 1. How much time do you waste day dreaming?   2. How much of your day dreaming has been consumed by sexual fantasizing.   3. How do you think your viewing pornography affects the quality of your imagination and your productivity?   Practical help Pornography is like plastic food. It might look good from a distance, but there is no way it will nourish that part of your soul that craves love. Yet you may be hooked on the illusion to the point where your soul is near starvation. In fact things may be so bad that your soul might be rejecting the very things that could revive your life and fill it with joy, peace, hope, purpose, quality relationships, and a host of other good things. If you are playing with porn, it might be that you have been hurt and are hiding out. It might be that you are just lazy and used to things being given to you. Whatever the reason, you can continue to hide behind it as an excuse, or you can choose to take steps to walk away. Think of one or two good things you could do today that would move you toward freedom from this addiction, and implement them.
