Welcome to eXXit, the web site designed to help you stand strong in the face of sexual temptation.

Passage: Proverbs 13:9*

The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked goes out.

Question

What did you want to be when you grew up? Or, if you are still young, what do you want to be?

Practical help

It is interesting that virtually no child, when asked what they want to do or be when they grow up, mention anything to do with pornography. We don’t aspire to pornography, we settle for it. Perhaps the lamp of your vision has grown dim. You don’t look into the future with a great deal of hope and determination to make the world a better place anymore. Instead, maybe you spend a lot of your time wondering what is on the next illicit Web page.

At the end of life, when you look back, will you be able to rejoice, or will your story be one of missed opportunities? Will people say of you, "He/she had such a bright future, what a shame they never rose to their potential." Don’t let porn, or any other sinful habit, rob you of becoming a person of significance. That light burning in your soul is a precious gift from God. He will want to know what you did with it when you two meet face to face.
