Why or why not?   Practical help The universe often seems bent on penalizing the deviant. Liars come to naught. Adulterers get caught. Cheaters draw jail time. God seems to have built earthly penalty for sin into the system. Or as the Bible puts it, "You reap what you sow." Pornography also plays a part in this cosmic scheme of justice, heaping trouble onto misery. Spouses and friends catch us in lies. Sex becomes debased and joyless. Life loses spontaneity and freedom. That is the discipline of God. It's nothing personal. The Almighty does not single us out for retribution; we simply live in a world he designed — a world that repays wrongdoing with lessons. Or what should be lessons. If you've already been disciplined about pornography, wise up now.
