In times when we have fallen and given in to Web porn, the tendency is to have a sense of deep despair from yielding to sexual sin. Our failure becomes the focus of our thoughts. God is at work to establish our steps in life. This is long-term, and something that brings great delight to Him. In His way of doing things, He takes time to shape us and mature us. No short cuts and no instant spiritual maturity. Even though He hates the sin that we struggle with, our failures and weakness serve in His process of growing us up to become humble and broken people. When we fall and fail and sin, He holds our hand and continues His work. Don’t despair today. Look to the One who holds your hand. Let His help and love for you become the focus of your thoughts.
