bread.

alone.
Questions
1. What did the devil use to tempt Jesus?
2. How did Jesus ward off the temptation?
3. What can we learn from this passage about resisting pornography?
Practical help
This temptation was uniquely physical. Jesus was hungry, the devil
said chow down.
To some degree all of us are sexually hungry. For proof, look to the multi-million dollar
pornography industry. Unfortunately, porn is a dangerous way to meet our legitimate need,
illusory in itself and often leading to worse forms of perversion.
Jesus response is instructive. Not only did He refuse the offer just
say no He also used Scripture to back His resolve. Go and do likewise.
