Practical help

This passage is found near the end of the book of 2nd Samuel and near the end of the life of David. King David's story is one of the most interesting, in my opinion, in the Old Testament. He began as the shepherd boy who defeated the giant Goliath, became a fugitive fleeing for his life before King Saul, rose to be king himself, sinned by sleeping with the wife of one of his soldiers and then covered it up by having the man killed in battle. His is a story of victories, defeats, and grace. In addition, he opens his inner life up for our inspection through the songs (psalms) he wrote.

How could David consider himself blameless after all he had done? The answer is found in the character of the God he served. Pray to know this God better. Ask Him to deliver you from pornography, He is astute and knows where you are and what you need. David couldn't hide from God and neither can you.
