Practical help

One of the greatest mistakes warriors of all types make is declaring victory too soon. If you have vanquished the enemy, why keep fighting? Unfortunately, many "slain" enemies keep coming back to life like horror movie villains.

Pornography falls into this category. The day will come when it will be eradicated from our lives — the day God welcomes us into heaven. Until then, we're stuck with a cold (or hot) war against a foe that threatens to destroy us. "Who is pure?" The rhetorical answer is no one.

But admitting this helps us. We know we're in the midst of a lifelong campaign. We make no foolish truces and declare no ultimate victories. We keep fighting. It's not over ... yet.
