1. Have family or friends advised you that there's no benefit to be
gained from pornography?
2. Has God let you know that the habit is hurtful to you and others
by exposing you to conviction and guilt?
3. Are you paying attention?
Practical help
You can pay attention or you can pay the price. The choice is yours.
One costs you forethought and a little trading off of near term pleasure for humble
patience. The other costs you broken relationships and slavery to your physical desires.
Which sounds like the better bargain?
If godly friends or relatives have come along side of you and urged
you to consider what pornography is doing to your life then -- pay attention!
If God is convicting you through guilt and shame then realize that
he's opening your eyes by the prodding of the Holy Spirit and -- pay attention!
Good deals are hard to find. This one's worth paying for.
