No temptation has seized
you except what is common to man. And God is faithful;
he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can
bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a
way out so that you can stand up under it.

them so pathetic that you're beyond God's
help?

bizarre that there's no way for you to stand
strong?
If you answer yes to either or
both questions, the verse above has good news for you.
It claims there is "no temptation" that can
outsmart God.
There's more good news in this
verse, which we'll get to in successive
studies.
But this news won't make much
sense if you believe your temptation is so gross that
even God won't come near enough to help.
Truth is, he will, and he does.
Believing this fact is the first step to victory over
your temptation.
