10:13*
No temptation has seized
you except what is common to man. And God is faithful;
he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can
bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a
way out so that you can stand up under it.
Question
On a scale of 1 (least
powerful) to 10 (most powerful), how strong does porn
temptation have to get before you give in?
Practical
help
Your enemy, Satan, plays
dirty. His ambition is to seduce and capture you. Not
just flirt with you but pull you down and low. To
seize you.
So know that when you view porn,
you're not engaging in mere rest and recreation.
You're daring the devil to grab you and never let
go.
If the devil's temptation has
already seized you, the verse above has some good
news: God has prepared a great escape for you
(read the following studies to find out
more).
For now, admit you've been
captured, not simply captivated, by porn. You've been
seized.
Only then can you appreciate the
great rescue that God has craftily planned, sparing no
expense, for you.
