No temptation has seized
you except what is common to man. And God is faithful;
he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can
bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a
way out so that you can stand up under it.

Guess: How many other
people in the world are experiencing the same sexual
temptation you are — and at the same time?
Practical
help
There have been many
attempts to estimate the percentage of folks
struggling with porn, homosexuality and other sexual
temptations.
The verse above furnishes an
ancient and still valid demographic: Whatever the
sexual temptation, it's widespread among all classes
of mankind.
So forget feeling sorry for
yourself ("no one could possibly understand my
struggle") or perversely proud ("I'm in a select club,
and to hell with nonmembers").
And for you folks who think
you're above the fray: Don't look down your nose at
people struggling with porn or other temptations. You
could be next to fall.
Happily, there's good news for
all of us common sinners: The Bible says God provides
a way to resist temptation successfully.
But is he reliable?
