Questions 1. Why would Jesus tell you to tear out your eye?   2. Has God promised us "temptation-free" use of the Internet?   Practical help If you acknowledge Jesus as God the Son (not sure?, click here for some great news), then you'd have to acknowledge that he's always been around. If anyone knows the spectrum of the human condition, Jesus does. God in His wisdom makes us unique, and part of the wonder of our relationship with Him is discovering how He wants us to respond to His love. In the area of resisting temptations such a porn, God allows for some to "mix it up" in head-to-head confrontation and to win. For others God has planned a more drastic course — one of extrication. For some of us, the way were going to win the battle against porn is to pluck out its "eye" from our lives. If that means getting rid of our Internet connection so be it. Life existed before we had the Internet. It still goes on without it.
