Questions 1. Do you feel your appetite for porn is too much to resist?   2. How sincere are you about dealing with a porn problem?   Practical help We're often driven by our appetites to do things we regret. Our appetites for food often lead to bodies we try not to notice in the mirror. Our appetites for extreme fun often lead to physical injuries. Our appetites for financial success often lead to fractured relationships. Our appetites for sexual gratification often lead to "loveless" sex with computer screens or inkjet printouts. The common failure is we let our appetites dictate our course. Could be you've been asking God for help in resisting porn's temptation but feel as though He's not paying attention? Could be He's waiting for you to pay attention? Are you really ready to deal with the problem? Is it time for sacrificial sincerity? If you haven't tried fasting (going without food for some period of time like a half day or a day) to focus your attention on God, and the relating of your problem to Him, then give it a try. He can use your domination of a food appetite as a stepping stone to your domination of a porn appetite. And if you try it, just keep it between you and God.
