If not, why?   Practical help So how many times (or have you lost count) have you felt secure in your strength to resist that porn site's lure only to end up wondering how you got there — again! You've tried to do the right things on your own strength. You've asked friends for advice on how to handle temptation. You've looked for ways to guard against it. You've even read a "Build Yourself a Strong Character" book. What's going on here? Satan is devious when it comes to sexual sins. He knows he can overpower any human defense against smut. If he sees he's dealing with just you, he gets a big grin on his face. All he has to do is crank up the heat on your lustful thought.
