Practical help
Salvation. It’s a particularly Lukan theme. The words Savior
and salvation show up eight times in Luke, nine times in Acts (which was also written by
Luke) and nowhere else in Matthew and Mark.
But Luke doesn’t keep salvation bottled up in the afterlife.
Salvation is now.
We should follow that understanding of salvation. Jesus not only
saved us from eternal separation from Him, He also saves us -- in the present tense --
from the things that make us lost, such as wrong ideas and dumb actions.
In that spirit, ask God to save you from Web porn. He’ll do it.
You have His word on that.
