Practical
help
One of the interesting
things about the universe is the multifacetedness of
error and the singularity of truth. Call it the
"one-way" principle. We miss "the target." We stray
from "the path." The lesson: Only one true trajectory
and one true course lies open to us. God designed the
universe that way.
But Web porn sideswipes and
sidetracks us en route. It disrupts the faithful
hearts that God has transplanted into all of us
the ones that say "earth has nothing I desire besides
you."
Escaping such detours requires a
step in the right direction. Back to our true self,
our truest self, which desires God above all things.
Let's rekindle that one-way spirit by living in a way
that demonstrates the Lord's preeminence in
prayer, fasting and quiet times, not in viewing Web
porn.
