As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7. having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Questions 1. According to these verses, what has already taken place?   2. What are we admonished to do as believers?   Practical help Every person who has received Jesus as their Savior has become a new creation in Christ. That is a gift in His grace toward each of us. He is the source of our life and our life is now in Him. Action Point 4: Commit to walking in Christ and to live a holy life in Him free from sexual sin. Write down your commitment, and keep it where you will see it often. Maybe next to your computer monitor for example. This is a one-time commitment which must be continually reaffirmed, sometimes on a moment-by-moment basis. You’ll never succeed at this in your own strength, but rather as you walk in His grace.
