Practical help
One of the enemy's favorite tactics is to accuse us of our failures in areas where we struggle most with temptation and sin - like Web porn use. He lies to us about two things: first, that God has rejected us because of our weakness and failures; second, that we will never change.
Today's verse exposes these lies and gives us hope. How? First of all it reminds us that God will never reject us because of our failures. He is committed to us and loves us. Second, God's perspective of our lives is long-term. Real change in a life often takes time. He doesn't plan to leave the work begun in us at any point but COMPLETE.
God is able today to use any struggle in our lives - including our struggle against smut - to bring change and growth in Christ. Stand today in HIS strength, knowing that you are still under construction and that God is at work in you.
