[Love] does not act unbecomingly

1. How would others describe you? Would they say you are a cut-up? Would they say you pout a lot?

 

2. Do you make others blush with racy stories or comments?

 

Practical help

The words "unbecoming" or "unbecomingly" are probably not used in conversation much these days. I can image my grandmother or someone from her generation using them, but not someone my age or the age of my children.

Today we might put it this way, "Love doesn’t act gross." Or for a positive spin, we might say, "Love is concerned about acting in ways that help others feel comfortable and safe." More simply, "Love is gentle" or "Love is child-friendly."

Pornography is crude and gross. It's not subtle. Pornography is child-harmful. It corrupts all who come in contact with it.

Pornography is not love.
