Questions 1. How do you distinguish truth?   2. In what way does truth give you freedom?   Practical help Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish the truth today. In many aspects of our lives, we are faced with people who tell us lies. Some of those people are the very ones who set up porn sites on the Internet. The lie is that viewing these sites is not harmful, that everyone involved is a willing participant, and that the only outcome of viewing the site is pleasure. It doesn't take long before bondage takes hold. Bondage in the form of addiction to porn, in being secretive about your actions to your family and friends, and even in lying to others and yourself about your addiction. Many have tried to escape the bondage of Web smut and have found that they can't do it by themselves. Here is where the good news comes in. The good news (the gospel of Christ) is that through truth (the teachings of Jesus) you can become free from the entanglement of sin like Web porn.
