Practical help
C.S. Lewis liked to say that the small choices we make in life -- for good or ill -- prepare us for heaven or hell. He did not mean that works usher us into the pearly gates or banish us to the flaming pit. Rather, good choices get us ready to be happy in heaven (we'll fit in), while bad choices do the opposite (can we be grumpy on the streets of gold?).
The battle between good and bad always boils down to specific actions. In this case, it's how well we fend off pornography. Will we fill our lives with lusty fantasies? Or with meditations of the divine?
As Psalm 63:6 shows, David, the psalmist, opted for the latter. Let's follow his example. Meditate on God's word as an alternative to pornography. It's a small choice, but it could have significant consequences.
