The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. 3. What would you say is the number one cause of boredom in your life?   2. When you're bored, how susceptible are you to porn's temptations?   Practical help Ever find yourself (like me) letting the dullness of routine things dominate your state of being? When that happens, we find it easy to meander over to a neighboring state — the state of "I need some excitement in my life!" When we venture over there, a piece of porn pie is all too easy to reach. A lot of the blame for hanging out in the state of boredom can be seen every morning in the mirror. The state of boredom is rife with sleepwalkers. We head into our days too dulled to contemplate all we take for granted. Start right there at the mirror. When's the last time you considered the marvel of your eyes? Have you used them lately to really look at the signs and wonders of the one who made them? Oh, he's made a few other things, too: A cloud, part of an amazing system — had a drink of water lately? A huge green tree, another cog in an incredible system — taken a breath of fresh air lately? The everyday things God created in your world are not boring — they're just waiting to be seen and heard and touched and smelled and tasted, again, for the first time.
