Practical help

God never changes! (See Hebrews 13:8) What He has always been, He will always be. No wavering or inconsistency of character with the Lord.

This was the psalmist’s confidence. In humility he approached God for forgiveness for his foolish sins. He trusted that God would receive him with compassion and lovingkindness.

If you have sinned against God by using pornography, you too can trust in His lovingkindness. Romans 42:4 tells us that His kindness is intended to lead us to a changed heart — repentance.

Humble yourself before the Lord today and call upon Him for forgiveness. Jesus’ death on the cross covered it all. He will forgive your sin, for His goodness’ sake.
