Passage: John 12:46*

I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

Questions

1. What are the world, life, and everything else like without Jesus?

2. What is Jesus’ message of hope for the person struggling with pornography?

Practical help

Light and darkness are recurrent themes in the apostle John’s writings. People who live in darkness are often confused and unable to see reality. They are lost in a fantasy world. Their decisions and judgments are based on mere appearances. They are simply unable to grasp what is important and true. Pornography is part of that illusionary world.

Light shatters and cuts through the darkness to reveal the right and the true. It gives hope! Jesus is the Light, and we begin to see all that is right and true when we come to know him as the eternal Son of God. He came into the world so that you and I could come out of the darkness into his light.

For those struggling with the dark habits of Web porn, the way out is Jesus. If you are a Christian and tired of stumbling around in the dark illusionary world of Web porn, there is hope for you. You do not have to stay there. Jesus is calling you into the light; ready to help you leave the darkness behind. Accept his help today.

If you are not a Christian, there is great hope for you also. Jesus invites you to step out of the darkness into the light of a relationship with him. Click here if you are interested in knowing Jesus personally.
