If there is any love or joy or peace in a Christian, it is ultimately the work of God. From the passage we just looked at, we can see that kindness is a gift which will benefit us throughout life, so how do we describe God? God does not have to be the imposing figure looking down on us trying to find our faults. He can be the loving, merciful and kind father who gives us those things which will benefit us the most. He can and will see to your needs.
