Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; 24. but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD. 25. "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "that I will punish all who are circumcised and yet uncircumcised — Question Why should you boast of knowing God?   Practical help Boast wise and you'll do a foolish thing. Boast mighty and you'll slip in a moment of weakness. Boast rich and you spend poorly. Boast of an amazing God you get to know more and more each day and you'll soon discover real wisdom, steadfast might and riches no one can squander. Try this the next time you sit down at your computer and before you do anything. Put the business of life in neutral and just tell God thanks that you're getting to know Him. Tell Him thanks that even when you slip, His lovingkindness picks you back up. Tell Him thanks that when your self-righteousness crumbles even in the smallest test, His bestowed righteousness is undaunted.
