What does Jesus desire as the outcome of his ministry?   Practical help For the last six days we've been looking at Jesus' prayer at the Last Supper. If you're coming in at the end, you might want to look at the previous studies to get the background. Here Jesus sums up the essence of his prayer. His purpose is to bridge the gap between man and God. He came to earth so that the hidden nature of God could be made known to us. The nature of God is love in its purest form. That love is available to all as a result of what Jesus did at the cross. His glory is in his love, and that glory is also the glory of all who call on his name. If you are tired of the games that this world likes to play, and longing to know a glorious, joyous life, you can find it in Jesus.
