What is often missing in these conversations is the motive that is supposed to support the actions. Many people stop with the idea, "Do it because God says so." That’s not bad advice -- but it doesn’t go nearly as far as Paul did. In this passage in Romans and many others, the apostle drew a direct connection between grace and actions: "In view of God’s mercy, ..." Keep the Father’s grace in mind as you battle Web porn.
