Practical help
In New Testament times, the shepherd stayed at the gate of the sheep pen. He was there to protect them. Jesus is the door to the safe place of God’s salvation for us. He is our protector and offers access to a safe and secure place. There is abundance of soul near Jesus and in His protection. It may be hard for some to accept, but there is no other door.
Satan is a murderer and a thief. His objectives are clearly for our destruction. Web porn is one of his weapons for entangling and defeating the believer. He is unable to destroy the soul of the Christian, since those who are in Christ are forgiven and secure for all eternity. Satan’s plan, however, is to render the believer useless and unfruitful through entanglements in sexual sin. There’s no abundant life there! Does this describe where you are today?
If you have trusted in Jesus as the door — as Savior, then abundant life is already yours to know and experience as a gift. You just have to look to Him and walk in it. If you have not yet crossed the line to trust Jesus as Savior, you need to pass through the door today. Click here for more on how to open the door to knowing Jesus personally. Who Jesus is, is what you need.
