Question In the porn culture, who are the destitute, poor and needy?   Practical help If porn does anything, it exploits people — actors and viewers alike. It uses them as commodities, not souls. If you're a porn viewer, consider yourself among the exploited. But if you're looking for a way to redirect your passions from porn to purity, consider taking up the cause of these exploited people (including yourself). Here are ways to get started: 1. Pray for righteous resentment against smut (hate the porn, not the producers). 2. Stop buying and viewing X-rated material. 3. Petition local stores to stop selling the crap. 4. Promote Web filters that block out offensive sites. 5. Tell elected officials to do their part. 6. Pray for the salvation of all involved — yes, even the porn producers. 7. Be humble — not holier than thou.
