Looking 2. Now when evening came David arose from
his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from
the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was beautiful in
appearance. 3. So David sent and inquired about the
woman. And one said, "Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam,
the wife of Uriah the Hittite?" 4. And David sent messengers and took her,
and when she came to him he lay with her and when she had purified
herself from her uncleanness, she returned to her house. 5. And the woman conceived; and she sent
and told David, and said, "I am pregnant." Questions 2. In this case, does the story end with David
simply looking at Bathsheba? 3. When you have been looking at web porn, is it

Passage: II Samuel 11: 1-5*
1. Then it happened in the spring,
at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his
servants with him and all Israel, and they destroyed the sons of Ammon
and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed in Jerusalem.
1. Verse two says that David saw
Bathsheba bathing and that she was beautiful in appearance. Is this
different from looking at pornography?
Viewing pornography is not something that
is over when the computer is turned off. The images and ideas
expressed stay with people, and many turn those thoughts into actions.
You can stop the cycle at any time if you will do the
following:
1. Ask God to help you identify
the temptation, so that you can say no.
There are other issues from this same
Bible passage. Come back tomorrow, and let's explore another way to
escape from the world of Internet pornography.
