Passage:
Psalm 25:6-10*
6. Remember, O LORD, your
great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
7. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious
ways; according to your love remember me, for you are
good, O LORD.
8. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he
instructs sinners in his ways.
9. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches
them his way.
10. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
for those who keep the demands of his covenant.
Questions
1. Do you think God really
needs to be reminded of His mercy and love (verse 6)?
2. Why would God consider
forgetting the sins of your youth and your rebellious
way (verse 7)?
3. What happens when you humble
yourself before God (verse 9)?
Practical
help
Ever felt like no matter
what you say or do you've been pegged as a (fill in
the blank)? Sometimes your reputation can be a huge
hurdle when trying to overcome the habit of viewing
pornography. It's very easy to believe that you'll
never again achieve a personal integrity on which to
base good and upright choices.
What can you do?
You can know that God will not remember the sins of
your youth (or even today's, for that matter). He
wants you to turn to Him and lay that old reputation
down at the foot of the cross (Don't know how?

you begin building a new reputation right now.
It's not often you get a crack at a clean slate. What
are you waiting for?
