Title: Surfing with Intent
Keywords: "evil" "good" "intent"
Welcome to eXXit, the web site designed to help you stand strong in the face of sexual temptation.

Passage: Proverbs 11:27*

He who seeks good finds goodwill, but evil comes to him who searches for it.

Question

When you're on the Internet, do you have a purpose for being there?

Practical help

The old adage "you generally find what your looking for" certainly holds true for the Internet. Pretty much any topic has some presence on the Web, with points of view ranging from good to evil.

There are many good Web sites giving useful information about healthy sexuality. But for every one of those, there are probably ten sites vying to exploit someone whose sexuality isn't feeling so well.

If the state of your sexuality leads you to surf the Web for help, what are the results going to be?

This proverb gives us a simple guide:

If you really desire help, then that's all you'll settle for. Click toward the good, and skip (or quickly click back from) the lures waiting to snag you.

If you're not really looking for help, then you certainly won't find it.

Bottom line: If you really want help, then surf with that intent.
