3. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

4. that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable,

5. not in passionate lust like the heathen who do not know God;

Questions

1. What activities are you involved in that make you lust?

2. Is pornography a medium that makes you lust?

3. What does verse 5 say about people who are controlled by lust?

4. Would avoiding Internet pornography help you control your own body?

Practical help

The best way not to be controlled by lust is to avoid the things which make you lust. Nothing will control your life unless you let it. If you are caught up in web porn, you are allowing it to control your body. It does not have to be this way. You can change who and what controls your life. Here's how:
1. Ask God to help you say no to Internet pornography.

2. Use an Internet service provider (ISP) that will filter out web porn.

3. Find a trustworthy friend who will help you overcome your desire to view Internet pornography.
