They promise them freedom,
while they themselves are slaves of depravity —
for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered
him.
1. What do you think is
meant by the term "mastered him"?

It seems too easy to be
mastered by the "innocent peek," "quick feel good" or
perceived anonymity of web porn. And before you know
it, you're enslaved. But there's a way out. God has
not given up on us. According to Ezra 9:9 (New
International Version*):
Though we are slaves,
our God has not deserted us in our bondage.
