There was no place he would rather be. Everything there spoke to him about God’s power and goodness. With a full and joyful heart, he couldn’t even imagine participating in wickedness. As Christians, we are the modern day Temple where the presence of God dwells. No more stone buildings or tents for God. He plans to live from now on in the hearts of those He saves. Consider the wonder and joy of continuously and forever abiding in God’s presence (His courts) by grace!
