Welcome
to eXXit, the web site designed to help you stand
strong in the face of sexual temptation.15. For we do not have a
high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
but One who has been tempted in all things as we are,
yet without sin.
1. How does Jesus react
when you face sexual temptation (see verse 15
above)?
What an encouraging and
life-infusing truth: When were tempted to sin
even to use the filth of porn Jesus is
near to help us resist and stand strong in Him. Verse
15 tells us that Jesus commiserates with us and is
touched with feelings of compassion and sympathy
because He was tempted in all things just as we are.
There is one important difference: Jesus never yielded
to sin. Because He was tempted He can now identify
with our weakness; because He never sinned,
thats why He can help.
