Practical
help
A common feature of
temptation porn, anger, etc. is a narrow
focus on the present. Never mind past mistakes
and future consequences. Only present
satisfaction seems to matter.
The passage above challenges us
to think beyond the present moment. It tells us
nothing good comes from giving in to sin.
Consider your answers to the the
question above. What comparisons can you draw between
adultery and Web smut?
Think of these similarities next
time you're tempted by porn. Maybe your
projection of future consequences will turn
into rejection of present
temptations.
