What advice does this passage offer to people trying to quit a bad deal?   2. Which steps would be helpful to people trying to quit Web porn?   Practical help Most of us wish we could take back bad mistakes. The above passage says that, to some extent, we can. Namely by canceling remaining portions of bad commitments. True, we can't reverse consequences that have already played out. But we can reverse course. How does this apply to quitting Web porn? Consider indirect commitments that you've made to porn. Like time scheduled for Web surfing. Or decisions to scan Web porn ads in the back of computer magazines. Or permission you've granted yourself to check out questionable Web links. Back out of these situations. Revise your browsing schedule. Stay out of back-section magazine ads. Determine never to link to questionable sites.
