Passage: Proverbs 8:1-4* 1. Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? 2. On the heights along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3. beside the gates leading into the city, at the entrances, she cries aloud: 4. "To you, O men, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. Question Is wisdom really as audible and attention-getting as depicted in the passage above?   Practical help Maybe a better question is: Do we hear wisdom's voice, given her efforts to catch our ear? Some of us porn watchers think God should supply effective escapes when we're tempted. But, given the passage above, what more can God do? His wisdom pursues us, then shouts at us in life's major intersections. Our ongoing smut habit is not due to his silence but to our plugged ears. Are we reading what he says to us in Scripture?
